Engineering Accreditation Council (EAC) Virtual Accreditation Visit (VAV) Assessment Tour

15 September 2021 - Universiti Malaysia Pahang Library (UMP) Pekan campus received a visit from the Engineering Accreditation Council (EAC) Virtual Accreditation Visit (VAV) Assessment Tour for the;

1. B. Eng (Hons) program Mechanical Engineering (College of Engineering),

2. B. Eng (Hons.) Civil Engineering (College of Engineering) and

3. B. Eng (Hons.) Mechatronics Engineering (Collaboration programme with HsKA, Germany) (Faculty of Manufacturing and Mechatronics Engineering Technology)

The virtual audit visit was held at 11:30 am for both Pekan and Gambang libraries. The visit was coordinated by the Centre for Innovation and Academic Competitiveness, Department of Academic and International Affairs. The UMP Library shared information and presentations on its printed collections, electronics, facilities and other library services provided to the users.

The session was presented by the Gambang Librarian, Puan Affida Binti Abu Bakar, while the Pekan library was presented by Muhammed Fawwaz B. Abdul Rasid. The session was also attended by the Chief Librarian. En. Azman bin Abdul Rahim. Deputy Chief Librarian, Puan Hajjah Siti Aishah binti Abdul Ghani and Librarian Puan Sharifah Nazirah binti Syed Omar. The Panel of Appraiser was represented by Dr. Sivarao A/L Subramonian and Ir. Zuhayr Bin Md. Ghazaly.

Alhamdulillah, the visit went well and all questions by the panelists have been successfully answered. Hopefully, the objectives and criteria of the Virtual Audit Accreditation Assessment Visit are achieved and UMP is able to fulfill all the requirements set by the panel of Assessors, InshaAllah.
