Program Pemantapan Kompetensi Pembantu Pustakawan: Eksplorasi Portal Perpustakaan (3rd Session) - 21st Sept 2021

On 21st Sept 2021, UMP Library held an online training for the "PROGRAM PEMANTAPAN KOMPETENSI PEMBANTU PUSTAKAWAN". This is 3rd session under the program, titled "Eksplorasi Portal Perpustakaan - Ada apa dalam Portal?" conducted by Cik Amelia Hasan via Google Meet application at 10.00 am.
The objective of this training is for staffs to understand more the latest content of UMP Library Portal. The training also aims to create awareness on the importance of portal as main information platform for the Library.
In addition, Cik Amelia also explain the role of Portal for UMP Library which are;
1. As promotion platform for services & facilities provided by the UMP Library
2. UMP Library portal also represent the Library as the online face for Library information
3. Providing users/public access to information online more broadly and openly
4. As interactive communication platform for users
The session participated a total of 47 audience member which consisted Assistant Library and Librarian. This training urges staff to explore the contents of the library portal according to the needs of the service given. During the training session staff are open to ask question and give any suggestion.
