Public Sector Conducive Ecosystem (EKSA) Working Visit Security DepartmentUniversiti Malaysia Pahang 23rd June 2022

PEKAN, 23 June 2022- The EKSA Library Committee has received a visit from the EKSA Committee, Security Division, Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP). The delegation of 12 people was led by the Head of the UMP Security Division, Tuan Ahmad Fauzi Ahmad Bakti.

The delegation arrived at 10.00 am and was taken to Seminar Room 2 for a briefing session. Briefing was delivered by Mrs. Noorul Farina, EKSA Committee Coordinator; Ms. Ratna Wilis Haryati, Head of Training Committee; and Mrs. Norsaini Abd Samat, EKSA Library auditor.

Tuan Ahmad Fauzi first expressed his gratitude to the Library, accepting their visit and taking the time to share the experiences in the management and practice of EKSA in the workplace.

He also stated that the Library's achievement in implementing EKSA is considered a benchmark for the UMP Security Division.

After the briefing, members of the delegation were taken to visit several parts of the Library. Each section visited, represents the criteria to be adhered to in the EKSA audit.
Members of the delegation also had the opportunity to view EKSA Files, EKSA Corner as well as visit sections and spaces such as Meeting Room, Pantry, Stationery Store, Key Storage Space, Office Space, Main Counter, PGS Corner, 3G Space and several other spaces.

After the visit, a briefing session was presented by Puan Norsaini Abd Samat, EKSA Library Auditor on the audit criteria. This session gives a clearer picture of the auditing methods and requirements in each individual workspace, common space, office space and many more.

The session ends at 1.00 pm. Hopefully this sharing session can be held again to increase the level of EKSA practice in both Departments.
