Kuantan, 19 November 2021- An online training was conducted successfully using Google Meet platform with the topic “Bagaimana untuk menggunakan Google Forms’ by Puan Sharifah Nazirah Syed Omar. The training was part of a scheduled course for the library's “Program Pemantapan Kompetensi Pembantu Pustakawan”.

The objective of the training is to refresh participants with the basic knowledge on Google Forms software for daily office operations, as well as providing them with some new tips. Google Forms is a free software web-based Google Docs Editors suite offered by Google that allows you to create online forms and surveys. The content of the modules focused on developing surveys, which included adding questions, images, and sections; collecting survey data, which included setting up for responses, sharing forms with collaborators, adding add-ons, and scripts; and analyzing data in forms and sheets, as well as downloading data in csv files.

The programme was attended by a total of 38 Assistant Library personnel and Librarians. Even though it entirely held online, participants should be able to absorb and retain the information presented that may be useful to daily routine operations. The training came to a close with a thank-you to the trainer and a group photo session.
