User Education Programme – Training World Scientific Publisher (4 March 2021)

On 4th March 2021, UMP Library held an online training conducted by World Scientific Publishing (WSPC) publishers via Zoom application. The trainer was Ms. Yee-Hong Khoo, the World Scientific Publishing Marketing Director.
The objective of the training was to guide the participants on ways to search and access WSPC e-books. Participants were shown how to search for topics related to their field of studies from the WSPC platform. They can also continue reading or downloading the material for their references.
Being on EMCO does not mean that the searching and services stop. To access material off-campus, participants only have to log in to UMP EzProxy ( https://ezproxy.ump.edu.my/login ). During the session, participants were shown how to get a list of WSPC e-books titles from the library portal. Users can also directly access the titles from the link provided.
Hopefully, with this training, participants will be able to find out that there are various collections of reference materials provided by the library. Users can use this source as references in completing their assignments or research.
